On the travelator, I admired
Her long legs, blue striped linen trousers,
Cupping her bottom.
She was coming up;
I was already going down.

Her blonde hair and nonchalance
Made it hard for me to look away.
She was the best player
On the other team I had to mark,
One of the swimsuit models
Guiding me towards the jagged rocks.

Our eyes met and finally
I looked away
As she went up and I went
Down the travelator.

Behind her stood Audrey Hepburn 2.0.
She had the most brilliant
Brown eyes.
