I take German lessons in the evening
and this week
the countryside in my mind
had no forest fires, tsunamis and hurricanes,
all thanks to me
replacing a bad teacher
with a good one,
someone who likes
to paint with words…
What a difference that has made!
I was a few grammar corrections
away from telling the teacher,
“Listen, if we were playing Street Fighter 4,
I would pick Evil Ryu and destroy you
with Hadoukens, Shoryukens, Tatsumaki Senpukyakus
And of course, the Raging Demon!”
And now, that burning desire
to say something
has gone away – completely…
It’s like I’ve mastered the
Power of Nothingness
and the Satsui no Hado
is no longer something
I
can see myself
using…
